TORQUE THROTTLE


MEISTERS(that's what i decided to call my readers from now on) my friend surendra nathan has written the following article.He his a bike maniac and here are few tips from him to modify bikes for better performance,torque and experience.......

                                 TORQUE THROTTLE
Friends , the era of racing has begun . For years we have seen only small displacement bikes but now the racing era whistles off. The streets of Chennai are habitat of R15 , P220, ZMR & RTR 180 . The good news is the heart throbbing beauties (definitely not girls ) are available for our budget .Even though the money is worth for such a class we can get the power of a macho bike , so here are the ways to transform your so called normal bikes into a Track Bike . The question that arises next is can i do on my own or should i need an expert ??....... well the answer is S you can . 


The respiratory system of an automobile is the carburettor and filter . The human life increases as we breathe more oxygen and so does the the power plant . Try changing a K&N air filter RC 1060 and the carburettor can be changed as we desire . A carburettor which has more air-fuel ratio mixture will do the simple trick . The exhaust must be good as the inlet is, so change to a free flow exhaust . TEC exhaust cylinders are available in the market for a negotiable price. The Torque Expansion Chamber (TEC) improves the scavenging (exit process) of the exhaust gases and is also designed create a pressure difference inside the exhaust pipe. This pressure difference inside the exhaust pipe creates a vacuum which helps to pull in additional air-fuel mixture at low engine speeds and thus improves the engine torque at low revs without compromising the mid or high engine revs.

Its time for some interior work , change of piston must be done . The forged piston head and cylinders are made of aluminium that means it wont heat up as quickly as other bikes and hence the thermal power is surged up . Changing the engine cooling type also helps for receiving more horse power from the engine . The simple trick of changing the valve timing and using an iridium spark plug will increase the power .
 
These simple changes will increase nearly 5 BHP of the total power produced . Are these changes expensive ??? no they are not , cos a bike which has these many features is costly than the bikes mentioned above . So try it to feel the surge of power .
