PONGOLO PONGAL it was indeed a very good pongal especially for the movie lovers and the movie world!!we saw the release of three most awaited movies in Tamil Cinema AADUKALAM KAVALAN and SIRUTHAI and i am gonna review these three films one by one and the first film that I'm gonna review is gonna be AADUKALAM

AADUKALAM MOVIE REVIEW

Starring: Dhanush, Tapasee Pannu, Kishore, Jayabalan

Direction: Vetrimaaran

Music: GV Prakash Kumar

Production: Kathiresan

The movie is basically about human emotions with rooster fight as a backdrop..The movie shows us about once a trend in most part of the world the rooster fight,.The movie is about Pettaikaran(Jayabalan),Rathnavelu,K.P Karupu(Danush)and Durai(Kishore) and how a rooster fight change their lives forever
In an unexpected situation, Pettaikaarar challenges Rathinam to a cockeral fight which witnesses Karuppu violating his mentor Pettaikaarar’s word but emerging successfully with enviable proceeds. This results in the swelling of his status among his folks which plants the seeds of animosity in the minds of Pettaikaarar. Rest of Aadukalam travels on an unexpected path with twists and turns highlighting on the way the multiple layers of human emotions with sense playing truant.

The director has sculpted the first half thoroughly planned and executed but he has seemed to lost it in the second half as it seems like the consequential planning(newtons third law planning).Danush has drastically improved has an actor with every little emotions are clearly expressed in his thin face.Jayabalan with Rada Ravi s voice seems to do justice to the pettaikaran s Role and kishore kumar does what he has to do for durai character.I wasn't personally impressed by Tapasee charcterization of IRENE.Dialogues are a big plus to this movie and the camera work is also good makes us feel like a part of Madurai, and one of the biggest plus for this movie are the songs and BGM by G.V Prakash who seems to be growing in talent day by day
Overall a good script executed well by a good director supported by some excellent acting but the climax good have been more stronger ...Aadukalam was not only the playground for rooster fights but it was also a playground for human emotions .
